Join wildlife photographer Jack Eyler for a special two-session class that will cover bird photography basics, offer tips and feedback, and provide real-time guidance out in the field. 
Both class sessions run 8:30 - 11:30 am.

Class is $80 per person. Class size is limited to 12 students, and pre-registration is required.

CLASS LOCATIONS: Wild Bird and Garden Southport Store (Classroom) and Select Local Field Location(s)

SESSION ONE: Class lecture covering the basics of bird photography (bring your camera equipment). Topics will include:
Cameras, their settings, and how to get the best exposures and sharpest photos. 
Where to stand to get a better point of view and how to get birds to come closer.
Photo composition tips and what makes a more interesting bird photograph.
Photographing birds in different settings, such as in flight.
Basic post-processing of images.

SESSION TWO: Class and Field
During the first hour in the classroom, the instructor will review students’ photos and provide feedback on how to improve skills and photo quality, as well as answer questions. 
During the next two hours, students will be taking bird photos in the field. Location(s) will be determined by weather and bird sightings.
