Spring Semester Birding Class
February 15 - April 26, 2018
Expand your birding skills and experiences while enjoying the company of other birding enthusiasts! Join Wild Bird & Garden’s guides and instructors David Weesner and Jill Peleuses for a fun class that will teach key birding skills such as identification by field marks and calls while offering special focus on the types of birds that you can expect to see in a range of regional habitats. We’ll see a wide variety of birds, and you’ll have a great time becoming a birding pro with us!
CLASS ONE: Thurs February 15 | 8:30-10:00 am
Bird ID and Birding By Habitat at Wilmington store
CLASS TWO: Fri February 16 | 8-11 am
Trip: Topsail Beach Area (Shorebirds)
CLASS THREE: Thurs March 8 | 8-11 am
Trip: Orton Pond/Bruswick Town (Woodland Birds)
CLASS FOUR: Thurs April 26 | 8-11 am
Trip: Green Swamp (Warblers)
