Spring Semester Birding Class
February 13 - April 26, 2020
Expand your birding skills and experiences while enjoying the company of other birding enthusiasts! Join Wild Bird & Garden’s guides and instructors Jill Peleuses and Evan Buckland for a fun class that will teach key birding skills such as identification by field marks and calls while offering special focus on the seasonal changes we can expect to see and hear from our region’s birds. We’ll see a wide variety of birds out in the field, and you’ll have a great time becoming a birding pro with us!
CLASS ONE: Thurs February 13 | 6:30-8:00 pm
Seasonal Changes: Behavior, Song, and Plumage
CLASS TWO: Thurs March 12 | 6:30-8 pm
Seasonal Birding and Spring Nesting
CLASS THREE: Sun March 15 | 8-10 am
Field Trip: Birding the Fort Fisher Area
CLASS FOUR: Sun April 26 | 8-10 am
Field Trip: Birding Burnt Mill Creek Area
